Our vineyards here are cultivated organically, in harmony with the region’s natural rhythms. We work with deep respect for our soil, a unique white limestone originating from the river Piave, which lends Bellissima a uniquely complex floral aroma.
We don’t rush nature, instead we work patiently to achieve Prosecco and wines that are always made with organic grapes, reflecting the rare beauty of the region from which they came.
Organic viticulture is at the core of Bellissima’s winemaking. Growing organically safeguards the land and its biodiversity. It also allows the grapes to grow naturally, beautifully and to express their natural qualities. Our wines have no residuals of pesticides, herbicides or any other nasty chemicals. Clean and delicious.
By using only organic grapes, and with careful winemaking, we craft wines that express the best of the grapes. We have the utmost respect for the natural qualities of the fruit, and our master winemakers put all their effort and skillful technique into preserving and transferring the pure freshness, fragrances, and aromas to our wines.
Yes, wine is made from grapes, but not all wine is vegan. During the winemaking process, animal by-products are often used during the fining process, leaving trace amounts of animal product in the wine. At Bellissima, we never use animal by-products during any step in the winemaking process. All Bellissima Wines are certified vegan by BevVeg and ICEA.
